Hey all.

Does the Morris 1100 have the same motor, box etc as a mini?

Any other info on the 1100's would be much appreciated.

Azza

Motor is the same as used in Mini K and early Clubman 1098. But the engine mounting setup at fan end is different to a Mini and would need changing..
Gearbox is only 3 synchro though- basically same as a Mini Deluxe 998, except the remote shift is bolted on a bit different and it has a much shorter diff.
If you put into a Mini, pull the diff out first, and fit a 3.44 or a 3.65 instead of the 4.26? that it's got now. Morris 1100 had 12" wheels and BIG profile tyres.
