Hey James

A lot of the mini fans are in Hay the weekend for the Mini nationals and trying to do some liver damage so wait until Wednesdy and post this question again.

Then stand back while they scream heretic at you.

Hi Mate
My clubby van has a sun roof in it , it looks ok but does affect the contour of the roof.
Im not the biggest fan of having one but it was in it when i got it so it was easier to keep it then try to patch it up. It it pretty cool though. If you want some pics ill take some next weekend for ya. let me know.

I had one in my van, but who ever put it in did an absolute crap job... It had no rubber seals in it at all, it was all silicon. Looked like they cut the hole out with tin snips then siliconed up all the gaps

With recognition of the Mini Sunshine and the Suntastic, I would suggest that the mini has very few panels and needs the stutural integrity on each of them. We know that cutting speaker holes in mini rear parcel shelves give more body flex that is desirable and I worry about about the structural effects with a bloody great hole in the roof with strengthening channels etc .
