a bloke came to pick one of his parts that i had on ebay, he said that a company down in adelaide have a 5 speed conversion kit, he said around 2k, is this true, if so thats what im saving for next,

from memory a few years back they were making them in Sydney. don't quote me on this. You can still get them from UK. But apparently aren't all that great. Some people recon that in squezing the extra gear in the box was weaker.

have a look on some UK sites I think they even made a 6 speed for an a series.. but you had to sell you unborn child for it!!!

Sorry I know that doesn't answer your question but they do exist

KG Engineering in Melbourne made a 5 speed here, and a 6 speed. No longer in biz I think. :cry:

great, i just hate the f3, evan my dads volvo can overtake me, through galston goerge (if anyone knows it) i put that car to shame,

how good is the george, its great when a porche is tailgating you on pennant hills road and you catch up to them through the geoge, on some hair pins you can actually see them turn around and try to give you a greasy,

i've heard that 5 speed boxes are good enough to cope with upto 90hp making them good for late model FI rovers
