| Post subject: | Mt Buller Sprint. |
I taped the Mt Buller sprint on Fox. It look's a top event for a Gti or Starlet conversion mini, with those tight corners and sweeping bends. Loved the classic cars, Hatchback / SS and XU-1Torana's, Mustangs, Ferrari's, Porshes and my favourite the GT40. Didn't see anything resembling a mini. This event should be top of the list, of a high powered classic. |

i beleive i was the only mini on the mountain that weekend strangely enough (not racing tho)!! it would really be a great race for some real hill climb special minis!! i'll be at the next one in november for sure!!! |

Sister event to Pikes Peak. 2nd longest hillclimb in the world behind Pikes Peak. 2nd longest running event in Australia behind Bathurst. Jim Richards won the event and the top cars were lapping 9.40's or 9.50's. ( I think ) All different classes, the Bini that lost it's front wheel was a stock stardard straight of the lot Cooper S. |
