Why dont you put Australian bonett stripes on your mini in stead of the pomgolia type, Australian type were a strip across the front of the bonett to help with stone chips on the front :D no Australian Cooper ever had the pomgolia rover stripes

HA!!!!

no way - you're all wrong, cooper bonnet stripes are 0mm long, and 0mm wide - in fact, there's no such thing!!!!

baaaaaaaaa

...... unless you're planning on replicating the bonnet stripes as used by the Cooper Car Co. Racing team of the 60's

Image

check this page out - shows the cars used in the '65 European Touring Car Championship - how ugly is that Lancia Flavia - BARF!!!

Seems everyone is talking about me, so figured I'd get involved.

Yes, I have a sign company & also an 850 which I buzz around in at the weekends. Am doing up an early van (hence the name Wee Van).

More than happy to help with the supply of stickers, HOWEVER am the first to admit I am no expert on widths etc & not interested in getting into long debates on it. Having been there in the past when I owned a GT Falcon .. in the end I stopped supplying stripes & stickers to club members as all too hard (surely more to life than stressing out about a 1/32"???).

I have supplied W33VAN with bonnet stripes 100mm wide in a 3M vinyl which will be good for 7'ish + years. Maybe he can post or send photo's once he has fitted them. I can alter the computer file to suit different width requests if necessary. Fitting is also an option if you can bring the vehicle to me during business hours in Blackburn. Haven't thought of $$$ yet.

Got a sh1tload of quotes to sort through so will get back to work & check in later. :D
