well i started removing my rear hydro subframe

so far have
1. Removed Spring
2. Removed fuel tank
3. Undone brake line
4. Undone and removed fuel pump
5. No exhaust
6. Taken the flaps off near the grease nipple at the back which took the longest and ended up messy farking rusty bolts
7. undone handbrake and pulled through floor
8 have frames weight supported
have i missed anything and what now just depressurize and undo the bolts if i can find eight of them i have two manuals and they dont show the bolt location i think 2 near the grease nipple either side two at the rear and ??

depressurise (carefully) then undo hydro lines and bend them down gently so that you can drop the sub-frame.

And please keep the hydro subbys & bits in good condition- somebody might just want to convert a Mini from dry back to wet. :lol:
After just completing 2000 Km around Tassie in a (now) dry Mini with new Konis, I can understand WHY they would... 8)

when you say bend them down do you just mean unclip them and let them down
do i unbolt them at the rear of the subby just near the nipples that release the fluid and yeah doc i know i know i might even use them on another car just not this one

The pipes on body are above the subframe, aren't they?
Should just need to undo the hoses... and drop the subby.

well its dropped ahhh that was hard work loll
we must be crazy to choose a hobby that requires so much hard yakka and frustration rusty bolts being a biatch

now i have to do the front ahgh i only depressurize once right the front should just be a case of removing the bolts and dropping it ??

now i am waiting for some mates to come and lift the body off
