Can any members with extra driving/spot lights please post up pics of the way they are mounted.

I want to get a set of round driving lights approx 55-60watts, but do not want to drill the front bumber to mount them.

Any ideas appreciated.

Thanks.

gday :!:

clubbys look pretty awesome with nudge bars on them, see poeee's or rodneys (user names). you could then drill the nudge bar and mount them on that?

either that or you could mount them to the t-piece behind the grille, and cut holes in the grille? (maybe get an old shitty grill instead of shopping up your good one???

Gadgets mini, how effective are the lights mounted like yours???

What wattage are they?

teh ones behind the grill are 100watters and the fog ones next to the ##plate are 50 watters
the 100watters are quite effective :D
( anything brighter that a gloworm is an advantage thanks to Mr Lucas  )
but by far the best improvment was doing the H4 conversion
the driving lights still are effective but not as noticable since doing the conversion 8)

I am picking up a knudge bar courtesy of one of the members, if it needs to be re-chromed i'll weld a bar to support lights then send it out to be re-done.

If it dosen't need chroming then i'll make a bracket up like Gordo's.

Thanks for the pics guys.

I took this pic of Mini87's car at the AOMC day. This is the kind of nudge bar people should be aiming for... a big thick mandrel bent
aluminium one. Mini87's one has the lights mounted upside down on some rearward facing tabs that are welded to the nudge bar at the top.

I like the look of Mini87's knudge bar, but i think a thick one on a Clubman wouldn't suit it.

I can see what you mean about the lights being upside down. May have to consider doing something like that.

I'm happy with the size of mine I think any bigger it would look wrong.

Sounds like the words of someone with a small one. Justifying the size of it.
