Has anyone ever seen a off road buggy with a mini power plant mounted sideways to make the buggy 4wd, i seen one at a guys farm on the weekend i was interesed in getting it but it was wrecked beyond repair.

I thought it was a great idea!!

Ive seen a pic some where of a mini tractor, it had the engine unit sideways n 1 side of the diff was locked. The other side of the diff went to a tailshaft to drive the rear wheels.

That would be nasty on the diff if they only locked one side. Sounds very bush mechanic

I saw a picture of that too...... somewhere......

Was VERY bush mechanic.
