Does any one know if a smiths water temperature mechanical type capillary tube gauge can be repaired.My one must have a hole in the line some were.If it can be do you know were? |

People like Otto instruments in Rocklea, Brisbane repair them and recalibrate them while they are at it. Last time I had one done it cost me around 140 dollars. That was a combined Smiths Water/Oil pressure gauge. In Sydney from memory, if you drive up the Pacific Hwy for 300 meters past Mona Vale Road, there's a place that reconditions them there on the right accross the road from a fire station I think |

Just dropped my old dual smiths gauge to St George Instrument Services, for a fix up of my temp gauge half of it  a fix, clean, calibration etc will cost around $100, was more than happy to take it on board so late in the day. Good service
