Ordered my front floor pans Now when looking at the rear am thinking of maybe replacing that as well its not all that bad but has rust when do you know when to repair and when to replace and how much work is involved in replacing the rear floor section i couldnt poke a screw driver through it if i tried but has surface rust heavish |

Heavy surface rust ain't so much of a problem if there is sufficient metal beneath it and no pinholes or worse to weaken the panel.....hit it with a wire wheel to uncover the extent of the rust and if it still feels solid when you have bright metal then I wouldn't be replacing the panel....then preserve the surface and forget about it. |

What Mick said ^^ Back floors usually (in Oz) rust way less than the fronts. And any pinholes you find there can usually be either MIG welded or brazed. |
