On a single SU manifold, the thicker the spacer is the better- it puts a bit of volume between the butterfly and the manifold wall.
On twins, it doesn't matter so much- the thinner ones should be OK if the linkage all clears everything.

What role/effect do different thickness spacers make in the carb to manifold setup? I have 2 standard at .35 " one at .5" and one at .25" What is recommended for a twin SU setup? |
