Change CV boot for a pot joint style clubman. Do I have to split the CV joint, or does the other end knock off (once drive shaft is out), the bit that goes into the potjoint?
Does anyone understand?

I can't be certain because I have little experience with pot joints but if it it anything like the unit joint setup the easiest way would have to be just knocking off the ball carrier to get the new boot on. |

you can knock the inner end of the driveshaft off, but with the ball cage and balls removed and a fair bit of grease and if you're careful you can get the boot over the end beats taking the CV off the driveshaft I reckon - thats a bitch |
