I just wanted to thank 2 of this forums finest from QLD, for the DVD that arrived in the mail yesterday. 8)

Cheers guys! Much appreciated!

Yes, this movie has been discussed before, but last night was the first time I had seen it. (I think you can buy it from Watto @ The Mini Experience)

WHAT A GREAT MOVIE!!

Sadly though, it made me realise that I have been to Auckland too many times. I recognised a few places in the movie straight away

Next I will be eating fush und chups, und supporting the Ull Blecks!

:P

Then it also shows how old you are :D , as that movie was made in 1981, or 25 years ago... I think I was in the 4th form at the time.

HUNT IT DOWN NOW! It is the only mini movie where the car is the star. "Collectors Edition" DVD available, with info about the stunts etc.

Try HERE for a copy.

Hurry up Gaf , good bit of Kingswood bashing involved as well in it . My ancient video copy is so well used and stretched it must be on it's last legs , the chase scenes are a few seconds longer each now . Gotta get it on dvd ......

heheheh, well close enuf...not that ive ever been up close to one...... :D

the only thing that dosent happen in the movie, that happens in every real life nz road trip is the ritual running down of our greatest australian imported pest...(no pics thanx camel)

kinda weird sideline - but the guy who plays the main charcter is now a fairly well known lawyer.

I know one the Police extras in the movie. She said the budget was so tight most of the stationary cop cars were only painted up on the side facing the camera - other side was plain... on the other hand some of the cop cars were real, they just got the local cops to join in at some locations!
