to owners of morris 1100 and majors, at center road wreckers in melbourne there are 3 of them almost mint with mint headlinings and seat and door trims, one of them looked like it was just redone before it hit the yard,
to mini owners, there are 3 minis, all clubmans. one of them was a S and has that wierd 2 tone black with cloth inserts, and cream with cloth inserts, both rear tail lights are in good nick and both subframes seem good too, its got a 998 engine with most of its running gear.
the other 2 have been there for a while but still have a few things
always sad to see such good cars go to waste
get down there and grab some stuff
anybody else know wreckers in melb with BMC stuff?

I'm not sure whether there's any there at the moment but Pick-a-Part in Campbellfield occasionally get a Mini or a Morrie in.

yep, centre rd wreckers had a red and white clubman brought in a week and half ago. (i was looking for a d85 pulsar dizzy). i saw the 3 gauges it had, but didn't have the tools with me. By the time i came back, it was gone! Got the d85 though. Had goodish (falken) tyres on clubman rims too, but again, that was last week. Also is an 1100 engine (or maybe was). Massive rust hole in roof i think brought about its demise. Nothing really of value left on the other two (white clubbies). Still a few d83 dizzys there on pulsars and astras, and the odd expansion tank on morries too. worth the dollar entrance fee!
cheers!

I gave Center Rd wreckers a call as I have been looking hi and low for these white cloth trim inserts for some time (They're the ones from the Clubman Sunshine I'm trying to repair).
They quoted 14 dollars a side, but if I asked them to take them off for me they charge an additional 35 dollars per side to remove them! OMG!

Is there anyone who may be able to go down and grab them for me? I'd be happy to pay all your costs in doing so if someone has the time.

Mick
