i was just wondering as im from a sporting background and appreciate the need to practice and train to be successfull at sport so it must be hard for drivers to improve at a fast pace

minimarc,

$65 gets you an all day pass to 'race' on QLD raceway. I say 'race' because on the particular day I was out there you can only overtake on the straights. Lucky the circuit is basically straights with a few corners thrown in!

Another interesting thing with this day is that you are out on the track with anything, yes anything. Good mate of mine has an M3 and is born to drive. He said there where quit a few cars he could not keep up with. I have been in his car at its limits and I can't imagine too many cars beating it on the road. Would be a little overwhelming being in a mini and getting mowed down top track only to have them not be able to overtake you through corners.

Anywho, $65, car doesn't get scrutinised and you can be out there as long as the car (or you) can handle it.

nah seriously thats pretty good what day anyday or only on set days
yeaqh i never thought about some of the real fast cars though minis small enough to stay outta trouble you would think and probably handles well enough not to be too much of a pace car around the bends

Here's the website for Wakefield Park-
http://www.wakefieldpark.com.au/site/frameset.cfm
They update the dates each month.

Qld Raceway should have something similar.
