Post subject:  Hub removal

Howdy, I'm having a bit of trouble with changing over my front wheel bearings. I have managed to remove the drive flange so far and the outer bearings came out with that, but I need to get to the inner bearings. To do this I've been told that I need to take off the hub. Do I need to take the pressure off the hydrolastic suspension to do this? Or can I just push the arms off the hub. Plus I need to release the ball joints to move the top and bottom arms, do I need one of those ball joint splitters or are there any other methods?

Any help will be much appreciated. Cheers

get a tie rod splitter to do the ball joints then once you have removed the hub get a drift to knock the races out then use the old races to put the new ones in this is the only way to do it
