Luca gave me a call this arvo....Mini no start.
He had driven it home last Tuesday!!
So....dipped the fuel tank (no trust "guage")
Checked fuel at float bowl on cranking.
Checked spark, several ways!! including with plugs fitted to end of leads....much cleaning off of carbon and unburnt fuel.
Brightened up the points with a points file.
Checked the firing order by first checking for TDC on one.
Called Denis over....multiple checks of everything
Plugs were getting heavily wetted....so we thought it could be flooding....the float bowl was the non-adjustable type (but no pin holes etc).....
then we ran out of batteries and light (sound familiar
)
I asked Luca if he knew any good swear words
