Hi all, had a service on my mini today and was told i need an outer drive flange boot kit and 4 new shock absorbers(as mine are gooooone!), can you guys help me out with stockists around the sydney area and what to ask for as far as shock absorbers go and price if possible, thanx gurus.

Get a set of KYB 'Gas-A-Just' shocks. Around $250 for the set. Best value for money shocks IMHO. I have them, MaddMatt The Mini Man STRONGLY recommends then and, unless I am wrong, he ran them in his Targa Tasmania car.

Yes Tony Cullin is a good man. Posts out the same day and well priced. Don't specifically about that brand but all shocks are stuffed by about a 100,000 clicks.

The outer boot is not expensive at all and just about any parts stockist can order them for you but since your going to a mini parts specialist anyway. !!! Also remember Karcraft in Silverwater in Sydney. They also have very reasonable pricing and a wide range of mini bits.
