Someone PMed me just before the forum went titsup.

I didn't get a chance to see who it was from (Don't suppose you would have a log of that somewhere poeee?)

I'm hoping whoever it was will see this thread. Hence the post to the most popular forum.

all PM's/posts that happened AFTER the 11th of July are lost forever. the last backup of the forum was on the 11th, and when we went to go change server, the old servers hard drive pooed itsself, causing us to lose all of ausmini. Sorry.

Right, I figured that happened, but I also thought that poeee may have access to SMTP logs depending on how the server was setup (mail relay on a separate box).

Also depending of the failure mode, it is often possible to retrieve data from dead or dying drives. e.g. mail & system logs may be in /var which was on a working partition
