Hi I am new to this forum, I have final brought a mini 1976 clubman for my first car, just waiting to get my license, but the thing is I have rust comming out of my ears Sad and was wondering wheres the best place to get the new panels and if it's easy to replace the panels yourself, I have all tools and equipment avaliable (Mid welder, grinder etc), except the knowledge and know how to remove the panles in the best way and what to coat it with after to prevent future rust. I live in WA so was wondering if there is a good place in W.A to get panels. I need to replace the door seals, floor panels, rear of car where bumper is bolted onto, rust in the channels on roof and the A- Panels. I am also after inerior door trim and carpeting, plus some nice seats or a place to re cover them ![]() Any Help Appreciated, Thanks Ian |

Hi, If you do a search you should find door cards and pictures. While you are waiting to get your license you can walk to bunnings and buy some 3mm ply or MDF and prepare it, then grab some vinyl and make your own door cards (for about $10 each ![]() As for WA places with panels, look here http://www.ausmini.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=10543 Thats in the 'How To' forum under 'Australian Mini Businesses' You could also buy online in the UK or U Sand bring in panels... Good luck and Welcome to the Ausmini forums! They are awesome! Peter. |

Also put your location in your profile and others near you might let you know when they are doing something you can get hands on practice with in return for you supplying some elbow grease . |
