My clubby rear light bodies seem to be more curved than the rear panel of the car. When I fit them they don't seal on the sides.

Anyone else got this problem? How can I seal these properly?

looks like uve got the same problem as mine,

so i got rid of them and am trying a thte moment to mould some flush fibreglass ones to the base without the lense....

will let people know if they come through ok....

if so i might make some for sale and see how they go!

if i were you just throw in a bit of silicon (clear type) then wait for it to dry. when dry, cut the excess with a stanely knife....the more excess, the more easier it is to cut off....so dont go tight and try and clean it up before it dries.

When I stripped the shell there was evidence the rear had previously been hit and repaired..........bummer....

Absolutley ZERO chance of me repairing it again OR handing it to someone else...... Nice try!

Do you have the right seal in there, and is it in good nick? New ones might help? I brought mine (roundnose) in recently from MiniSpares.

I was after new rubber seals, but was told you can't get them new any more. Clubby type of course.

The ones I had are OK. I just wanted all new rubber for JAM. Everything else is new...... I don't think it is my seals that is the problem.

The last thing I want it a boot full of water.

there is a guy in melbourne that was at the minishow that was reproducing these gaskets and others like it. Jan might remember who he is, i didn't pay that much attention.

Cheers
