I have some bullet mirrors that i bought from somewhere.... ages ago. They were like $100 each? I used the bolts that they came with. I had to mark out where it was going to be positioned on the door and then drill new holes to fit it. I placed masking tape over the entire area where the base of the mirror will sit. I then measured very carefully the position of the hole in comparison to the base. I also cut the head off a bolt screwed it all the way in so that just a small amount was sticking out past the base of the mirror. I then put some CV grease on the stud and carefully sat it on the door. The grease then left an imprint on the masking tape, that was i could be sure i was drilling in the correct spot. I had the door trims off obviously n stuck my hand up inside the door to fit the bolt. |
