 Post subject: camira brakes?

hey i was just wondering if anyone could tell me how hard it is to convert camira brakes or honda brakes to suit a mini..... and how would i go about doing this?

You probably havn't got a response to this for a couple of reasons.

Mainly because this a recurring thread with lots of opinions and advice already avaibale by a search.

Then also there is divided opinion on the concept, the legalities and the safety of non factory produced brakes.

Mini brakes produced by the factory have been proven in various competitions over the 40 year span of the mini and just bolt up to all mini variants. They are also homolgated (at least accepted by traffic authorities ) as being acceptable.

Variant brakes, such as camira and honda, need modifications to be fitted and legally they need an engineers report to be legal. They are less expensive, true, but some question remains about technical aspects of their use.

I am not offering an opinion, just a comment about why there has been little response to your question.
