Pinched from another forum. The Bonang Hwy from Orbost to Delegate River in Victoria, just south of the NSW order.

Plenty of mini drivers doing that as well mate, don't kid yourself.

There should be more roads like that one. Thres no need to cut the corners in a Mini it handles the corners anyway. Mind you that's only if you drive to the speed limit or slightly less when cornering.

Generally when on a motorbike and trying to stay within the lines on corners like that, if you're going fast enough you head will hang close to the line while your tyres are running close to the curb.

All it then takes is a trundling 4WD of a car coming the otherway with the same idea and there will be a collision. It's an easy trap for young players, and one I nearly made a couple of times till I learnt what not to do.

had plenty of close calls of that nature, its lovely to know in a mini if you need to get off the accelerator to avoid a crash you end up sliding sideways towards the crash anyway..
also good to know a reapplication of accelerator tidies that one up.

Cotter Road is another good mini road drive thingy. Took my 7yo twins for an open day at the deep space tracking station at Tidbinbilla. Had the mini airborne, sideways, bumpstop driving the whole way(road isnt the best but is a great cruise). I might add this was all done at the posted speed limit too. Hmmm - maybe for the ACT MCC Show and Shine we could take a drive out there if any of the Sydney siders want to come down...

Hooroo

EDIT - Just re-read the post and I was appalled at my lack of Queens English...I am now attempting to insert the Maquarie concise into my temple!!! Rob
