I need one of these. Where can I get?

Even something bigger that has the same pattern will do, as I could cut it down to the right size 8)

Anyone??

I recently had a trimmer make a great mat for the front area of my GT so that the carpets are protected. It's a double one with a hole for the gear stick. He included a heel mat as part of the drivers side. Because of girly heels I also drive with a cheap square carpet mat right under where my heels go to protect the mat! He is at Brookvale and does all the trimming for GB's Mini and Moke world so know minis well. Ofcourse going to cost more than a rubber mat at Clarks...(from memory $90ish) but thought I'd mention it. (Also got a great dash mat made for $35.)

JC & Bros Upholstery 9905 1623 - 22 Orchard Rd. Brookvale - Craig Ferry.

:)

For rubber mats, try also Grippy Rubber Products, on Victoria Rd Rydalmere (next to Hoppings Mowers).

Ahhh but these are special, they were the ones fitted to Clubman GTs. I'm not so sure that a normal shop would have them. They're unique to GTs aren't they?

It is highly unlikely that I could buy one of these mats off the shelf. They were certainly unique to a GT, and 35 years ago too.

What I am trying to find is 'something' that is as close as possible. Clarks and Grippy may well have 'something'. I will check them both out, thanks guys.

Elle, I have an exBMC trimmer doing all my work, but thanks for the recommendation anyway.

Stupid question - but couldn't the ex BMC trimmer have a lead on where you might get something similar?

Minsport Adelaide are selling the repro Cooper S items, perhaps they could lead you to the fellow responsible for making the repros. If he went to the trouble of making the Cooper S items, perhaps he might be able to make the GT?

That's a fair call.....and I do have him on the case.

The only problem is that he reminds me every time I see him that he hasn't worked for Leyland for nearly 30 years, he is old , he forgets things and it was just a job back then......

By the way he told me last time I saw him that he has a ton of NOS Holden seat trim covers, from back in the day.
