Puting a kit through the master and slave cylinders tomorrow apart from what the Black book says anything i should know so i dont make a pigs ear out of the effort any advice no matter how simple or silly would be appreciated cheers |

Three hints. Do each separately. That is do the master cylinder, refit it and prime it. Then do the slave cylinder. That way you know that the master is working when it appears not to be pumping. As you dismantle it, lay out the bits on a sheet of paper in the order they came out. Then reassembly is really just the reverse of the order (mostly) When you are pumping fluid and bleeding, its nice slow pumps on the pedal with time for the fluid to catch up. Hydraulic fluid is fairly viscous - fast furious pumping only makes you feel better it doesn't help the bleeding process. |

Wear some latex gloves whilst doing (they're in the bottom drawer, on the left  ) the job, makes it heaps easier to hold things and protects your hands from the brake fliud.

Is the hose the same as a brake hose?? i am asuming it is are the fittings the same? |

Similar hose but different. AYA5129 is the part number.

I bet the fittings are the same but the length is different, but I am only guessing!
