Post subject:  Volunteer needed to replace clutch pedal Pin

Got the bloody thing out ok and all refurbished but im thinking puting it back will be a right royal PITA so if anyone wants to have a go feel free i will be attempting it tomorrow morning about 9am so all of Canberra i apologise in advance for all the swearing :wink:

I found inserting the clevis pin with the split pin hole facing the passenger side was a lot easier, but then its a LOT harder to get the split pin in.

Its times like these you wish you'd bought a Matic? :lol:

Split pin ??????

Are you talking about the "R" shaped pin that is in there originally.

The whole thing is a pain but the "R" is not that difficult and once it clips over the clevis pin its in without further fiddling.

Just be very sure that the clevis pin it through all the holes. That is the clutch and the eye in the master cylinder.

Get the right tool for the job, long handled needle nose plyers and like most people you'll be doing it in under 5 minutes :D
