| Post subject: | wiper switch |
When i went to take the wiper switch out of my old mini i noticed that it didnt 'click' into its 3 positions properly. So I opened it up (expecting to see a spring out of place or something) but nope. My question is what is inside there to make it work properly? Am I going to need to buy a new switch here? I can put up a pic if you guys dont know what im talking about

The contacts can corrode or wear out, refurbishing them requires building up the contact again with silver or similar material and linishing it down to a nice flat surface. Not very easy unless you are pretty skilled with a set of jewelers files. Check that the 12 volts is getting to the switch and then getting out of the switch as well just to be sure. |
