hello ive just had my carby pots polished and have been told ive got something special. the little things you twist to on top of my carby pots are made of copper not plastic. is this anything special, if they arnt they look great any way. ![]() cheers sean[/b] |

mate ive looked at other twin carbies they all have black plastic ive never heard of any cooper tops in the 13 months of my mini career they are something, arent they are they bright brown/orange? |

Earlier SU carbs had the copper dashpots like that, I've seen early 850s with them. |

SU's pre Mini (maybe some REAL EARLY Mini's had em) had the copper/brass top ones. Take a look at early MG's. |

my 1.5inch SU has a brass top.....looked cool when the carb was rebuilt....but looks crappy as now its all dirty again ![]() |
