You really know how to sell a car....It just keeps Breaking.

2 1/2 to 3 1/2 K but it does depend on what some one is willing to spend and how good the body is

Maybe you should put more new parts in...

Most mini's i've seen can take a hell of a beating....

How can you spend 15 000 on a mini and not get it right

Got a picture of the car I want to see it.

ive honestly come to the conclusion that after owning four of them over the last 8 yrs of so that
1. There a great fun car that need looking after (reg service)
2. Buy the best you can first if you are on a budget
3. If you want to drive it everyday then dont think that you can just buy one for 2K then fix some bits and peices here and there and all will be sweet things will break
4. I feel that if you want a car that you can use all day everyday for work etc then 15 to 20 K is about right
5. If your not prepared to deal with things breaking or cant fork out that much then buy a carolla or commodore for 10K and have a mini as a hobby car

My mini has been quite reliable so far but my other car is exactly like that... I would get depressed about it because my bad luck was spread over 3 different cars, it wasn't just one lemon. After 4 years of it i decided to stop spending any money on the other car, don't wash it, thrash it more than i used to and it's been reliable ever since. Coincidence? I'm starting to think perhaps not!

my first mini cost me $400...never gave me any issues.....ever
my second mini cost me $500 and i poured about 5 grand into it.....apart from some new bearings never gave me any big issues, but the body showed its true age and bodge jobs previous owners had done.
and my third mini cost me $739, bare shell...... im building it up from bare metal, using recoed or new parts. if a mini has been put together properly i cant see why you would have issues.
then again, some people just arnt made for mini's. the wally who bought my first $400 mini that was f'n sweet. rock solid, i really miss that one, anyway he bought it (he'd had three mini's before and either wrote them off or screwed them one way or another) blew the engine and did some other crap to it. then it was off the road for close to a year, then supposedly after getting it back on the road now it gives him heaps of issues. maybe the car is trying to come back to me =)
i'd buy a $8000 mini if it was dead original, or if it was resto'd i'd ask for a full photo history of the restoration process.

Lucky if you can buy a dead original and you need to swoop when you do

Have had days when by little things none work, chinese whispers in the garage.

Two days after purchase

Only cost oil and filters since rebuilt 5 years ago done 32 000 miles + in my care.

I know where there is an original one with the rubber mats still intact 18000 genuine miles $7000 needs nothing A1 mint condition in Sydney real time warp.

Don't lose the faith cause once you get them right they are a joy :D
