I'm looking for a braided line with connectors that can attach to the block oil take off at one end and the oil filter head at the other end.

I have yet to track down a supplier and would like to get this bit sorted soon. Would prefer off the shelf rather than having to get one made.

Any ideas?

Cheers
matt

you know my feelings on that (Mr Susan.A . . . I know who you are.... !)

f**k the bling... Bring on the Vroom !!

but the fittings I got from pirtek were a nice Gold Dichromate finish and had nice yellow bands to hold the hose (40,000 PSI burst strength - lets see an A Series beat that!)

I would plumb it in with same hose connectors each end, so you can easily add a cooler later if wanted:

Got to Pirtek, buy a foot of their multi mph-08(1/2'') 35bar wp (500psi) hose, and 2 push-on fittings- size 1/2" BSP (female flare nuts).
Make one fitting straight, and the other 30*.
Then you need a 1/2 BSP x 1/4 BSP nipple for the oil filter connection, and a 1/2 BSP x 3/8 nipple for the block. Recut the 3/8 BSP thread to 5/8-18 UNF so it screws in.

This hose is good stuff, holds 500 psi, won't kink like the Bling! braided ones. if it ever leaks you can remake the connection yourself, just need a knife.

Thanks guys, I'll look into it. I am always in favour of function over form, but when you get function and bling at the same time....
