Anyone else having this problem???

Nah, he's just resting his belly on the keyboard. :D

I've found that since the move the connection can at times be a bit slower compared to the previous server that was super reliable, but I've had no specific connection problems.

when you say can't connect to, what exactly do you mean? (not being pedantic, just trying to understand the exact problem) 8)

yeah its not the server cause its working flawlessly for everyone else. it would have to be either your isp or your computer related issues me thinks. go through your internet options and clear out all your history and cookies then give it a go

Smokie,

I had a similar problem. Clearing my cookies did not fix the problem until I cleared the cookies after I had logged onto Ausmini.

Hey Smokie,

We have the same hassle too - works fine 'till about 5 or 6 pm

My computer gets regular "house keeping" - like every 3 or 4 days and we still have trouble logging on to Ausmini during some evenings.

When you open Ausmini, the little box at the middle bottom of the screen that shows connection speed, will show one green block wait.....wait.....wait......another green block wait.......wait.........then sometimes a third one then after one minute or so comes up with the message "Unable to connect bla bla bla. It can't be cookies and files here because Jan is fastidious about keeping the old comp running at speed.

Gremlins - me thinks

you don't have a virus scanner scheduled at that time?

that can slow ya comp down...

Happened again last night, even used my other computer and had the same problem. It is only Ausmini that I am having problems with..

Clicked on this morning and no problems and it will work all day until around 5:00pm. Have checked all my settings, cleaned the cookies but still didn't connect.

Just means I wait until the next day to read all the intelligent comments made here on Ausmini...

I've checked the anti virus and there are no scheduled scans. This problem happens right through the evening. I was still trying to get it to load early this morning at 1:30 or later. It took about 15 mins to slowly load one page, about the same time to load the next page, and then told me that the site was unavailable. It can't be an ISP problem because other sites load OK.
