Decided to clean out the back garden one 850 block one 1000 block one 1800 block and one very holy moke.

Stayed there overnight and nobody dumped anything into it, I was amazed.

There are some salvagable parts in that Moke, I hope you didn't just bin it. The F&Rear sub frames, seat frames, shit-grab handle and the removeable grille front panel just for a start. Post that on the Moke forum and it'll go in a flash!

Wait until Blokeinamoke sees it
- he'll be back to welding & grinding on it just for the enjoyment of annoying the neighbours

68 matic has the grill, seat frames are rusted through and the grab handle is cactus aswell.

I have a perfect top battery cover plate and two grab handles in the shed and have sold the bits of another moke and a complete shell already.

This was just the remains.

Agreed their are two goodish sub frames but the scrap guy wanted it on wheels and it needed to be to get it out of the back garden.

Bloke in a moke has the rear seats and roll cage

Funny how the word gets out I've had two different minis cruize by the house slowly past the moke out the front. They should stop for a natter.

Truck came and got it and made a huge mess. The guy attached the chains to the moke and was going to lift it rather than drag it up onto the flatbed. I warned him it was very weak due to terminal rust.

Anyhow the moke goes up about 6 feet off the ground and low and behold one of the chains rips straight through the body and the whole thing flips upsidedown next to the truck.

I told him it was his mess and walked away. The guy did a great job of cleaning it up. :D

Sad to see a moke bite the dust. :( but the roll cage, seats, spare bolt, a rim and canopy bars live on in mine.

I found that if I stand the compressor on top of a large metal chest I have it makes more noise than the grinder
