Gday, I just bought some chrome side moulding of ebay and I'm a bit unsure on how to fit it around the bends. I read on the minispares website that you can heat it up with a hairdryer first.

Soak the roll in a bucket or tray (whatever) of hot water for a while,
and when it's fitted to the car make it so the natural curce follows the
tight sections of the car (between arches).
:D

If it's a Cooper S style one with the lip, you won't have a choice....

I agree, bastard job.

As Harley said, or leave on the concrete in the hot sun for a lil bit before hand.

I did a stock Clubby with no flares last weekend. PISS EASY. Mini's with plastic flares are a bit harder, but it isn't rocket science......

leave it on the driveway in the sun for a few hours to heat it up and then put it on so the direction it's rolled in is the same as the smaller curves in front of the rear guards and behind the front guard . You can reverse the direction of the curve for the wheel arches but not for the smaller curves .
