Has anybody watched the program "The truth about killer dinosaurs" on Sunday night on SBS? I taped it and watched it last night.
It was interesting, to demonstrate how hard a T-Rex could bite they built a full scale steel reproduction of the skull, with a 4-ton hydraulic press  to open and close the jaws.
Then to test it they first used a big piece of meat (half a pig I think), then moved on saying "And now an icon of the Jurassic period versus an icon of the 20th century", and sure enough there was a Mini!
It was little more then a shell, but the reproduction T-Rex shredded it to bits with no problem at all.
Interesting enough, they said earlier that the T-Rex couldn't run very fast (25 mph tops) and would have had problems with handling... :?
At least we know the Mini could have run away from it and let it bite some dust instead, if just she had an engine in the bonnet! 8)

Argh!!! Poor mini! I wonder how a real T Rex would have dealt with a engine  Instant stomach problems

that third pic makes the mini look like its crying...or screaming...or both. It looks like something that was alive at some point. something that died painfully. You could almost imagine it losing its soul...

poor mini. I hope its gone to a better place.
