Looks pretty straight-forward. Got some measurements/specs for me?

I don't use Autocad, but use graphics programs (illustrator type stuff) and can save as a dxf, pdf etc. Is this what you want?

I work at a structural engineering and drafting firm, so I could get them drawn up fairly easy.

What are you putting up for the prize willy , I'm good on the hand drafting of plans and DP's , engineering drawings are easy . You know , paper and Rotring pens , the stuff before computers ....

Is anyone going to get all fancy and do some 3d rendering of it?

LOL... soooooooo yesterday. At work we **** curse like tradies when we get hand drawn plans. But having said that, i'm only 24 and i've got a set or two of Rotring pens and pencils. Haven't used them since i left uni and started working as a draftsman. haha.

I curse when i get a computer drawn plan

p.s. i wasnt serious about the 3d model

Speak to 1310/71 for the measurements Yeah basically a computerised version of the image, with measurements so people can go and make their own. Which is what is desired.

I work at a structural engineering and drafting firm, so I could get them drawn up fairly easy. We have AutoCAD 07 too. If you give me some measurements and section sizes (if you know what sizes are required, otherwise I will do a quick design to check what sizes are reqd.), then I can draw them up. EDIT: If no-one gives dimensions, I will just guess based on the pictures and draw something up.

It'd be super quick if i had the 2d plans in front of me first though. It'd be just a matter of punching in numbers to get the 3d model and the time would be in the rendering and lighting effects.

But at our work we have to do all our plans on CAD so if i get a hand drawn one i have to basically copy it. If the dimensions don't fit the drawing then it's impossible for me to know what goes where. If you make a wrong assumption the architect has a hissy fit about it.
