Thanks for the couple of offers of freebie accommodation, but I managed to con the missus into coming with me and staying somewhere in the city! We're within walking distance of the Super Special Stage! We've hired a WRC spec Pulsar as well - Look Out Perth - Here I come!!!

The thing that got me about Perth last time I was over there (about 7 years ago - I was 19 at the time) was the pace (or lack thereof) of the place. I found that I was driving in Sydney Mode and overtaking cars left right and centre because they were all driving 10 km under the speed limit instead of 20 km over it like over here!! I even found I was walking faster than everyone else!! It's things like that that let you know how wound up living in Sydney makes you!! :shock:
