I cant find the engine number on the Mokes engine. I have looked all over and cant find it. Any suggestions? |

Should be in the same place as the Mini I would have thought - stamped on the block near #1 cylinder. Has your block been decked???? Maybe the engine number has been shaved off in the process. Hooroo |

Dont know if its been decked, but I will look near 1 and 4 in case I have cylinder numbers wrong. |

CLean off whatever paint etc is there with some sandpaper or emery cloth on a flat board (swipe your wife's nail file ....) gently and if there's any indentation left it will gradually show up by the very thin layer of paint trapped in them . Just make sure you sand/file it gently and the board is flat . It'll be easier to do with the head off but still possible with the head on . |
