yea....buyer beware from that dude!!

That van has been listed 4 times now.....just like that Mk 3 Cooper S he was selling a while back.....that was DODGY AS!

....and he has an MGB that has been listed 4 times before too!

Do a search on his items with the completed listing option ticked!

Hey GT, couldn't agree with you more. For starters, the engine number quoted is for a 998 and I notice it is running an 1 1/2 carb as well as what looks like dual speed wipers and an alternator. No Post Office Mini (van or sedan) came equipped with a cooper style centre console that I am aware of. Certainly no "investment" value as the dude claims.

Always dissapointing when they do a really good spray job on the outside , but leave a cruddy engine bay with overspray .... Also , why is he selling 2 identical MGB's with matching numbers .......

yay i can change a carby, alternator, and wiper motor in less then half a day.. for reliability, or drivabilty it could have been done, and it does say that it has an 1100 engine in it. read the description. who cares what motor it has anyway, unless u want it for concourse which it wont be good for anyway

I hope some one does take it too......... I think it is a good deal if people read what is actually going with this project car....

meanie, the simple point he was making is that the van is advertised as ex-Aus post, but bares no resemblance to that now, so why even bother saying it was.

and further to this, anyone can paint a van white and say "ex Australia Post"

That seller always has some line to flog his wares. And why does a divorce have to be mentioned in an advert for selling a car, other than for a sympathy vote?!?
