OK, so i was doing some work on my mini today (i know, SHOCK!) by trying to deal with the problem of rust in the gutters, but it was an absolute PITA to do, especially the rust that had formed under the lip of the gutter. Now i was attempting to do this using some sandpaper and a thin bit of wood, but u just couldnt get the sandpaper to go where i wanted it to go. IS there an easier way of doing this? Its going to take effen ages otherwise.

just order the sandpaper to do what you want or there will be hell to pay


and if the sandpaper knows whats good for it it will do as its told


you could try a thin bit of cork or a bit of rubber failing that get Scott to do it

try a small wire wheel on either a die grinder or an electric drill

and wear safety glasses and keep your mouth closed the rust dont taste nice

house paint WTF i thought you were doing the Mini not the blardy house be carefull you dont get Marvin caught in the wire wheel when doing those gutters may as well check the tiles and adjust the TV aerial whilst your up there

If it's old house paint it'lll probably contain lead. So remember to breathe in as much as you can when wire wheeling it. Each breath of lead filled paint you take, you live a day longer.
