 Post subject: Could it be a Cooper S?

I just bought the beginning of a short term restoration project. The guy I bought it from said it was from a Cooper S and would be the good starting point for a quick rebuild, I am not sure. I think I might have done my dosh :(

He said with a couple of weekends I could be finshed, but I cant find anything say that it is genuine. Photo below.

I think you should be right - that 5 on the head isn't acutally a 5 it's an 'S' :wink:

good luck with the rebuild or is it more of a build up?? :lol:

I'm in the same boat, I started a Cooper project with these I obtained last week. :D
NOS from the late 60s I believe.

Sorry mate, cant be an S its got the wrong radiator hose ties. Looks like a clubman cooper s to me which is just as valuable.
