sorry if this is in an inapproapriate spot, but was hoping i could get Jai to go see the world Down Hill Mountain bike Championships in New Zealand this weekend,

one of the guys i sponsor is riding in the under19s & is basically one of the fastest guys in the scene at the moment---> James Maltman, he should be wearing one of my """MiniMan""" jersey at some stage during the event

:-)

anyways, if there`s any other NZ people on here, do yourself a favour & go have a look at the event, it will blow your mind

so it is kind of "mini" related topic cause i sponsor him :-)

cheers

Matt

Sure am! And a keen but amateur cross country mountain biker. Sadly the World MTB Champs are in Rotorua, about 6 hours north of Wellington. I'd love to have caught the event, but family and work demands mean otherwise. They'll be televised though and worth watching.

yeah, in Rotorua,,,, will be totally wicked viewing/spectating, the very very best in the whole wide world will be there.

man these guys are soooo creme-de-la-creme of world class athletes, no kidding!!! & they "can" drink hard at the after party (i only go for the after party really,,, i only pretend that i can ride just so i can go to go to the after partys,,,, it`s really all only about the after party,,, did i mention how good the after partys are??? :-) )

anyways, if you can get there , then don`t muck around, just go & do it!!!!!!!!!!!, you won`t regret it,,,, & if you spot a little fella called James Maltman with a "Team MiniMan" jersey on, then stop & say hi & you know Mad Matt, that will give him such a buzz & make him ride even faster, he`s just soooo f`kin fast you won`t believe it, seriously!!!!!!!

& if there`s any TV footage avaliable, can you video tape it for me please, not enough of this stuff is televised (altho it`s getting more & more air time every year, still there`s never enough....This sport is just soooo dam tough you will never know unless you tried it,,,dam it`s such a work out just watching it.

anyways, i`m just buzzing about it all now,,, all good vibes & good wishes to all the riders but special interest in fellow "Team MiniMan" sponsored rider Young James "the MiniMan" Maltman

hope he can whoop some serious arse & may he keep it round rubber side down.

world champs are pretty serious stuff.

thanks 4 the support everyone

cheers

whoops....sorry...there's been really good TV coverage here, so I dutifully recorded some of it (downhill....yeeehaaaa), but then realised it was on dvd-ram disk which I have no way of getting onto PC.....

...so I put the disk in the "wifie can use this disk" pile....so now it probably has Dr Phil over the top of it sorry.....
