Post subject:  Sell or keep interior?

Hi,

I am making my own door cards and putting in front seats from a newer car (subaru or honda, etc)

The trim is that poo brown one, front seats are in great nick and door cards are 50/50

The rear pockets, etc are all in good nick.

I dont think I will remove/replace the back seat.

So, should I keep the interior that I replace or sell? Whats it worth?

Peter.

i would only sell t as a complete set, including the back seat, dont split up such a nice set.

You can easily find another back seat, nice and cheap, either in good conditon, or get one trimmed to match the new seats

You know I used to use original door cards to lie on while working under my other minis, I also used them as soft pads to rest engines and gearboxes on the floor when I was short of bench space. Mini seats in good nick made great workshop seats.

I used to throw them out hand-over-fist, and now I regret it rather badly.

If you can possibly keep them aside, or give them as a complete set to someone do so, you will probably thank yourself later.

I guess you guys are right.
Ill store thhem away. The back seat ill just put seat covers on that match or blend nicely with the new fronts.

Thanks guys!

Definitely agree with putting these away. They are too good to strip and recover. Just get an old set that's ruined and refurbish them.
