KYB Gas Adjustables seem to get the vote as reasonably priced shockies...never used them myself though..

The Lipp brand are really good and as a standard shock do the job very well(100,000km an just starting to show their age - nil leaks though...)

KYB are good as are the Pedders range - Lipps go for around 75 bucks a throw...

Ever see that rant web page set up by the pissed off Pedders employee?? Had some interesting infor regarding Pedders shocks. Was taken down after a few days but I'll never buys Pedders agin, even if it was only 1/2 true.

I run Monroes (made in Belgium) on my Moke. They were cheapish and are ok, but not really the performance option.

Nope never saw it, but my Pedders are fine after 70,000 miles- on front of hydro car.
I don't think Pedders make them, I suspect they are rebadged Gabriels or something.
I'd buy them again. 8)
