Hi guys and gals,
I am posting here on the off-chance that someone knows where there is a 3 synchro Cooper S gearbox available. My car has has a 4 synchro 22G1128 fitted but I would like to change back to original. All help really appreciated.

I've tried a few private guys and Murrey Lockie in Auckland, Swift in Christchurch and a guy by the name of Jim Maud who advertized S stuff in the last Classic Cars mag. He first said he couldn't help, then said he could but has yet to produce anything.

maby strong bros in auckland, or able parts may have somthing, or Jai Monaghan(minicranks.com), or even lee norman(minibitz.co.nz).
Im sure somone willknow of one somewhere, under a tree probably!
oh, um, Miniracing.co.nz, the forum n there, it can take ages for somone to reply, but theres alot of people on there who seem to know alot of people...

I've dropped a "wanted" on the miniracing wanted page, rung Strong Bros (who are having a look) and I can't see Able's in the book. Do you have a number or address for them?

I saw that but it was sold when I did, very reasonable too Grrrrrrrrrrr. The box in my car might well be available but it wouldn't be cheap to freight it over the Tasman.
