My understanding is that mini2.com is owned by BMW, and that mini2.com.au is a privately run concern with no affiliation to the mini2.com site. Anyone please correct me if I am wrong 8)

MINI2.com has nothing to do with BMW .
Bmw though keeps Paul Mullet (site owner- starter) in the loop becasue they know how massive the site is, and how many owners use it. ( infact i used it to sort out a warranty issue as it was a sound they couldn't replicate so I printed out the sheet of owners with the same problem, so they could work out how to replicate the sound through other owners input and I got a new Harmonic Balancer)

MINI2.com.au is set up by Brad along with a new MINI Club that sort of died out to run it for a profit for himself.

That car was at the QLD mini muster I think. Spoke with the owner. Pommy bloke. Reckons he had spent silly amounts of money on it. I stopped listening when he tried to tell me he's spent $22k on the thing.

Had some other good stuff in it, boot was fitted out really well. Overall very neat car.

That is of course if it is the car i'm thinking of?
