Guys and girls, I want to tidy up the dash a bit more and install a face plate along the front of the dash. I want to leave the current three clack dash in place. Has anyone made one for their car AND do you have a template I can pinch.

Funny thing, For my last car I borrowed the dash face plate from a friends mini and made one exactly the same size. Even though both are cars were clubbies made only two years apart his dash plate did not even nearly for my car it was about 10mm too wide.

Rumour has it that BMHeritage shells are worse... they don't have proper jigs to assemble them.
A poster on MM board had a NEW Heritage shell shipped in to Canada. When the Rokee wooden dash arrived from UK for it he found the dash rails on one side of car were 10mm further apart than the other...

try having a look here: http://www.niksula.cs.hut.fi/~mdobruck/ ... idash.html

These plans fitted my 72 clubbie with no problems. I made a few modification to fit my gauges and headunit etc.
