hey guys just wondering how easy is it to remove subframe to remove the gearbox and replace?

You're better off pulling the whole engine and gearbox out the top and popping the block off it then. Removing the subframe to get the engine out is a lot more difficult.

once the engine is out its fairly easy, if you canfollow a hanes manual. just a few things to watch:
1. buy a flywheel puller
2. re-fitting the oil pickuo o-ring
3. refiting the primary gear seal
um, cant think of the rest... but read the manual and see how you feel about it first.
