Hello everyone, im coming over to aus for 2 months on the 2nd of january and id love to go to a mini event while im over there. Is there any meets on your east side around then? Whilst not strictly a mini event, in Sydney on Australia day (Jan 26th) the local equivalent of RAC or AA (NRMA) are holding an event called Motorfest. This has around 1500+ classic cars of all shapes lined up and down Macquarie street which is right in the heart of the CBD. The Mini Car Club of NSW always has 20-30 cars at least. It is an annual event and the day is a public holiday. There's also lots to do in and around the harbour that day as well if you get bored looking at all the cars. As for mini only events, I'll have to consult the club mag and get back to you (for NSW events). Perhaps Mutant Mini could elaborate on Vic events? |

heh....that's when our second baby is due..... He'll be a tru blu Ozzie baby if he is born on OZ Day
