so i had a safety check and this is the list of things that it says on y receipt that arnt up to scratch:

play in front lower shock bushes
front upper control arm inner bushes
right outer cv boot torn
caster bar front bushes
play in left hand front wheel bearing
lower control arm inner bushes in front.
and needs left rear wheel bearing adjustment

and then i went to get rego check yesterday at another place where all he does is check my lights and drive it around the block for brake test, well its a bit rattly so he jacked up the front and said i need to fix the bushes on the front then he'll pass me.

basicaly im getting my work done at the first place but my question is... because i have little knowledge about these kinda things... with the list what parts will i have to buy and how much will they be before i go back to get it all put in and fixed up, or isnt it enough knowledge for u to work with

oh and how long do i get after my rego runs out before it rolls over to need a blue slip or any other silly thing?

thanks people.

IIRC you have three months before you need a blueslip, well thats what im hoping, my rego ran out last week, and the car is currently sitting in the garrage with no motor in it

lower control arm bushes from karcraft are about $2.30... tell your mechanic to order what they need from there, or take it to a mini specialist like Mini Classic
